All shoe types will come based on the six races living in the OpenBlox world: Insect, Shark, Hardshell, Flower, Dragon, and Techno.

Note that rewards are not always the same. They will vary with sneaker attributes and other factors such as weak GPS signal, or having a bad mobile data connection. There is also an element of randomization in the system, to increase the excitement.

Shoe Attributes

Each shoe comes with 4 different attributes that define how the shoe will work for the player while moving.

  1. Attack (Rux Earning): Attacking plays a big part in defining the amount of Rux earnings. The higher the attacking attribute, the better results players will be in terms of Rux earned per energy spent.

  2. Luck: Luck determines the frequency and the quality of LootBox drops the holder can receive. The higher the number, the better the chances.

  3. Speed: This attribute is currently still in development. We will share further details on it soon.

  4. HP (Hit Points): Hit Points directly affect how fast the shoe decays and its durability. The higher the Hit Points are, the more resilient and durable the shoe is, therefore, having a slower durability decay and requiring fewer repairs.

Shoe Level

Users can level up their shoes by spending the in-app token, $RUX. Every time a user level up, a set amount of time is required to complete the process. The higher the level, the higher the amount of tokens required to further increase the level.

By leveling up, users earn additional attribute points, which they can allocate as desired to enhance their sneaker's attributes.

Upgrade Attribute Bonus Points

As you level up, you'll earn points that can be allocated to various attributes of your shoe, allowing you to customize and enhance its performance.

Shoe minting

Eventually, users will be able to create new shoes from two shoes they own. They combine two of their shoes and will create a third that inherits attributes from both, similar to how breeding works.

Note that in the end, the user still will have the two original shoes. Shoes must be upgraded to level 5 to produce new shoeboxes.

More details will follow soon.
